The aim of the project was to create an application for internal use at Schengen border controls for the Ministry of Justice of the SR. FingerPrintReader allowes to take fingerprints on a specific device, compare them with the fingerprints already recorded, and evaluate their quality. Active X components were used together with an external devices. Verification of fingerprint quality is based on complex mathematical algorithms.
