Hi,
I'm Marcel from CODERAMA and I'm currently looking for an experienced Test Automation Engineer to join the team to help build and develop the testing infrastructure for a technology platform in the field of EV battery diagnostics.
What do you have to do during the day?
- design and development of test infrastructure and tools for a complex software stack
design, implementation and maintenance of automated test suites for:
- web frontends
- backend services
- REST APIs
- communication between microservices
- data pipelines and storage layers
- automation of end-to-end, integration, regression, UI and performance testing
testing communication between services (microservices, APIs, RPC), including gRPC and event-driven architectures - validation of data and database operations (SQL/PostgreSQL)
- collaboration with developers, DevOps and product team in setting test requirements and quality gates
- integrating tests into the CI/CD pipeline so that changes are validated automatically
- analyzing test results, reporting bugs, and designing metrics for test coverage, reliability, and performance
- code review of test code and sharing best practices in software quality
What do we expect from you?
- experience with automated testing in a Java environment
- experience with backend and web application testing (REST API, web UI)
- experience with databases and data validation (SQL, ideally PostgreSQL)
- knowledge of distributed systems or microservices
- experience with RPC frameworks (preferably gRPC) and messaging architectures (Kafka or similar)
- good understanding of testing methodologies:
- unit
- integration
- regression testing
- ability to design test scenarios covering edge cases, performance and data integrity
- experience with versioning (Git) and code review processes
- ability to work in an international cross-functional team
- English language at a communicative level
