Hello,
Back to Marcel from CODERAMA, currently with the position of Load & & Performance Engineer, who will focus on the design and implementation of performance testing for complex systems.
If part of your job is e.g. Analyzing application behavior under load, optimizing performance, and collaborating with both developers and DevOps teams on scalable solutions, you'll probably also be interested in:
What's in store for you:
- design and execution of performance testing strategies (load, stress, spike, endurance)
- creation and maintenance of automated performance scenarios
- analysis of test results and identification of bottlenecks (application/database/infra)
- definition and validation of performance metrics and benchmarks (SLO/SLA)
- testing APIs and asynchronous systems (e.g. messaging - Kafka, RabbitMQ)
- collaborating with DevOps, platform and development teams to optimize performance
- integrating performance testing into CI/CD pipeline (continuous performance testing)
- working with monitoring and observability tools during testing
- supporting scalable architecture design and performance best practices
- presenting results and recommendations to stakeholders
What do we expect from you?
- 5+ years of load/performance testing experience
- experience in designing and executing performance testing strategies
- expert knowledge of at least one tool: JMeter / Gatling / k6 / LoadRunner
- very good understanding of metrics: response time, latency, throughput, error rates
- experience with performance engineering (workload modeling, capacity planning)
- knowledge of modern architectures: microservices, distributed systems, REST APIs
- experience with API testing and messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ) and cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes (scaling, resource management)
- experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI)
- experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- working with monitoring (Grafana, Prometheus, Dynatrace, AppDynamics)
- ability to analyze issues across layers (app - DB - infra - network)
- English language at a communicative level
