Job description, responsibilities and duties
Hi,
we are Nika and Zuzka from Coderama and we are looking for an experienced Data Engineer with knowledge of AWS and Snowflake to join our team.
What will you be doing during the day?
- Design and maintenance of enterprise data model.
- Analysis of system requirements and architecture design for data integration and migration.
- Development of database solutions for information storage and retrieval.
- Optimization of existing data systems and design of improvements.
- Designing data architecture, processes and ETL integrations.
- Documenting business processes, system architecture and data standards.
- Liaising with BA and developers - translating business requirements into technical solutions.
- Defining and overseeing the implementation of data standards and best practices.
- Educating team members on data processes.
What do we expect from you?
- Min. 5 years of experience as a Data Engineer, Data Architect or Data/System Analyst.
- Advanced knowledge of database principles and data management (security, backup, monitoring).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred), Snowflake Cloud Data Warehouse.
- Familiarity with SaaS/PaaS solutions and different data types (relational, dimensional, unstructured, master data).
- Experience with data processing and data pipeline tools (dbt, Databricks, Spark...).
- Experience with ETL tools (Oracle Data Integrator) and CI/CD (GitLab CI, Jenkins).
- Knowledge of infrastructure as code (Terraform).
- Experience with data modeling (Inmon, Kimball, Data Vault).
- Strong analytical skills, organizational skills, and detail orientation.
- Ability to translate user requirements into functional solutions.
