Project scope and responsibilities
Hello,
we are looking for an experienced Performance Test Lead who will help set up and develop performance testing for complex IT solutions.
What will your day look like?
- Designing and managing the performance testing strategy,
- preparing and executing load, stress, endurance, spike, and scalability tests,
- creating and maintaining performance test scenarios,
- evaluating system performance, stability, and scalability,
- analyzing metrics, identifying bottlenecks, and proposing optimizations,
- collaborating with developers, architects, and DevOps teams,
- integrating performance tests into CI/CD,
- Preparing reports, dashboards, and recommendations,
- Providing methodological guidance and support to other testers.
What do we expect from you?
- At least 4 years of experience in performance testing,
- Expert knowledge of at least one of the following tools: k6, JMeter, or Gatling,
- a good understanding of HTTP, REST APIs, authentication, and working with sessions/tokens,
- experience analyzing metrics such as latency, throughput, error rate, P95/P99,
- experience with monitoring and APM tools, e.g., Grafana, Prometheus,
- Ability to analyze performance across layers application – database – infrastructure,
- Experience with SQL and databases,
- Ability to clearly communicate results to both technical and non-technical audiences.
A plus:
- Kubernetes / Docker,
- CI/CD,
- AWS or Azure,
- OpenTelemetry / distributed tracing,
- experience with mission-critical or high-availability systems.
